King Abdullah II Fund for Development has entered into a partnership with the British Council in 2005 to fund 50% of two annual scholarships offered through the Chevening Scholarship program in Jordan. The aim of the program is to provide opportunities to young and dynamic Jordanians who wish to study in the UK. Scholarships are awarded only for post-graduate students pursuing a Master’s Degree. Every year, 2500 scholarships around the globe and a good share of Chevening scholarships are offered in Jordan
The Said Foundation is a charity based in the UK. One of its aims is to promote education and development in the Middle East. To this end, the foundation offers a number of scholarships annually to enable graduates to pursue postgraduate courses and other training at universities or other institutions in the UK. The scholarships are open to citizens of certain member states of the Arab League. The Foundation does not fund undergraduate studies.
